About:
Bethpage High School freshman Adina Rahman presented a check for $500 to representatives of the Lupus Alliance of LI/Queens. To raise the funds, Adina and her mom held a raffle fundraiser during the school’s annual play. They were motivated by members of the family and close friends who have the disease. She is pictured presenting the check with BHS SADD advisor Christine Kennedy to the organization’s Executive Director Patricia D’Accolti and President of the Board of Directors Patrick Geraghty.
